Eason Mitchell

William Eason Mitchell is a native of Calera, Shelby County, Alabama. He began his career in law as a civil litigation investigator in 1969. He was a Fredrick Morris Scholar at Birmingham Southern College, where in graduated with a degree in Geology. He began practicing law in 1975 after graduation from Cumberland School of Law at Sanford University. He then spent two terms as a Shelby County Municipal Judge and two terms as Prosecutor and represented his state in programs at the National Judicial College in Reno, Nevada. Mitchell has been widely recognized as the region's top criminal defense attorney after winning twenty-three consecutive jury verdicts in serious felony cases.
